Our story

Welcome to Blootropic, a Melbourne-based company focused on quality, transparency and trust.

Our story began with a circle of friends: mothers balancing career and family, dedicated sports enthusiasts, and health-conscious people. Among them was a close friend who had experienced a stroke and for years found it difficult to fully participate in social gatherings due to ongoing fatigue and cognitive challenges.

That experience sparked a deeper interest in methylene blue: its history, its applications, and the importance of sourcing it responsibly. Methylene blue has been recognised for more than a century, with historical use in medicine including malaria research and treatment, as a dye and staining agent, and as an approved treatment for methemoglobinemia. 

We started Blootropic with a simple goal: to make high-quality methylene blue available from a brand customers can feel confident buying from. From the beginning, our focus has been on careful sourcing, independent laboratory testing and a reliable experience from product to delivery.
